RSA Multifactor Authentication for NexTier Online Banking
NexTier is introducing a security enhancement that proactively protects personal information online. This will be a standard safety feature of NexTier Online Banking. This authentication process prevents fraud and identity theft using additional layers of identifying information and protecting you from revealing personal information, such as passwords, via “fake” websites that closely resemble the sites of legitimate financial institutions.
Multifactor Authentication requires user to provide the following information to enhance the security of the login process:
- current password (if an existing customer)
- three answers to questions to confirm identity
- an image phrase
- an image that is a unique identifier
