Your NexTier Bank checking account has a special feature called Bounce Protection. Soon, we will no longer be able to provide this coverage automatically, unless you tell us you want to keep it by “opting-in.”

Choose to “opt-in” and your debit card will work as it currently does and Your Overdraft Coverage for ATM and everyday debit card transactions will continue. If we don’t hear from you by August 15, 2010, we will no longer be able to provide this coverage automatically for everyday debit card transactions and ATM withdrawals.
