NexTier promotes Mark A. GaNung
to key leadership position
July 9, 2007 – NexTier is pleased to announce the promotion of Mark A. GaNung to Executive Vice President and Chief Sales Officer for the NexTier enterprise. GaNung has worked for NexTier since 2004 as Senior Vice President and Managing Director for NexTier Wealth Management.
In this new capacity, GaNung is responsible for leading the overall selling and relationship management effort of the NexTier enterprise.
“Mark’s demonstrated experience makes him a natural fit for this leadership position,” said Margaret Irvine Weir, President of NexTier. “He has an impressive and extensive background.”
GaNung brings 22 years of experience to this position, including executive management positions in banking, financial planning, and institutional money management. GaNung is a credentialed financial advisor who holds a BA degree from Lycoming College, and he attended the National Trust School at Northwestern University. He is a board member of the Bank Insurance and Securities Association and is active in children’s ministry at Orchard Hill Church in Wexford, PA. He resides in Bradford Woods with his wife and four children.
