NexTier celebrates opening of new T-Bones Plaza branch
Wii game system is grand prize in NexTier Bank essay contest
February 28, 2008 – Students in Grades 2 – 8 have a chance to win a Wii game system when they submit an essay about “Why Saving Money is Important” to NexTier Bank’s T-Bones Plaza branch by March 31, 2008.
Students can enter in three categories: Grades 2 and 3; Grades 4 and 5; Grades 6, 7 and 8. The best essay in each category will win a $100 Series EE Savings Bond. A random drawing of total entries received in all categories will win the Nintendo® Wii.
Pick up an entry form at the T-Bones branch, Routes 910 and 79, or Click Here. The entry, a minimum of 250 words, must be returned to the T-Bones branch and include the student’s name, grade and school.
The contest is being held in conjunction with NexTier’s grand re-opening of the T-Bones branch at the eastern end of T-Bones Plaza, 100 VIP Drive. The branch is larger and updated from its previous T-Bones Plaza storefront. Marshall Township officials and NexTier’s President and CEO, Margaret Irvine Weir and Don Shamey, respectively, will cut the ribbon on Thursday, March 13 at 6:15 p.m. at a VIP reception (by invitation only) to benefit the Woodlands Foundation.
