Fraudsters are spoofing the NexTier Bank Customer Care Center phone number and claiming to be NexTier Bank employees alerting customers about possible fraud on their accounts, specifically from stores in Texas and Chime accounts. In some cases, they will give the first few digits of debit card numbers in an attempt to get you to trust them and give the remaining card numbers, expiration date, and CVC.
NexTier Bank will never call you unsolicited and ask you to provide:
- Online Banking usernames or passwords
- One-time passcodes (OTPs) or security verification codes
- Debit card numbers or PINs
- Full account numbers
- Any other confidential login credentials
- Ask you to log into Cash Manager while on a call with us
If you receive a call, text, or email requesting this DO NOT respond or provide any details, even if it appears to come from a legitimate NexTier Bank phone number. Hang up and contact our Customer Care Center at 1.800.262.1088 immediately.
